Program Investment by United Way:
1. Medical First Responders
St. John Ambulance offers advanced level training to those who require first-to-respond skills. Medical First Response Services members volunteer their time by learning life saving skills to help others. This program allows on-site emergency medical care to be provided at many large not-for-profit events. MFRS volunteers are trained to provide disaster relief in declared states of emergency. St. John Ambulance assures that people injured receive the immediate and well-trained attention they require.

2. Youth Services
This program is structured to teach youth life skills in order to help them grow into productive contributing members of society. There is a focus on teaching youth about first-aid, health and safety, babysitting, and home health care. These skills and others learned become transferable into their teen years and help to teach them about responsibility, and assists them in becoming more employable as young people, as they move into their professional lives.
