Provides first aid coverage at community events, visitations to hospitals and nursing homes, training and community services.

Program Investment by United Way:
1. Search and Rescue Niagara
This program provides a ground search team, comprised of skilled volunteers trained in search and rescue to be available to both the Niagara Regional Police and Ontario Provincial Police to locate missing persons in the Niagara Region. The volunteers that make up this program have been trained in first aid, land navigation, forensic science and other expertise areas needed to assist in effective searches.
